The SDN/NFV Orchestration planning team is a part of the Corporate Network & Technology organization. This organization is principally concerned with the strategic technology evolution across Enterprise Services, wireless and wire-line with specific focus on orchestration and automation of virtualized network functions and services. We are in need of a technical project manager with unique skills and experience.

This support role within the NFV Orchestration and Automation team will lead the overall deployment, designing and feature roadmap for our orchestration solution(s). This position will be responsible for integrating with various facets of virtualization efforts inclusive of VCP Openstack infrastructure, new automated on-boarding methodologies, open loop and closed loop service assurance practices, and deployment of new network services. This position will require project leadership in an Agile environment using conceptual and hands-on knowledge of key deployment and development tools, specifically JIRA & Confluence.

A qualified candidate would need to exhibit significant experience across the following areas:

  • A deep understanding of Wireless and Wireline network operations procedures and rules of engagement
  • A deep understanding of Datacenter virtualization technologies (Servers, networks and software stacks), monitoring tools and processes
  • Transforming longstanding procedures and operations within organization

This position interfaces extensively with many functions within the business including internal and external system architects, product line managers, network operations leads, DevOps leads and a variety of both business and technical organizations spanning the company's enterprise.
