Location: Cumbria

Duration: 9 months

Rate: £15.22 p/h LTD

Clearance: SC Clearance (must be willing and eligible to undergo, prior to project start date)

Due to the secure nature of our client's project, the successful candidate must either hold valid or be willing to undergo SC Clearance prior to the commencement of the project.

My client, a global organisation, is currently looking for a Technical Coordinator to assist with managing, extracting and analysing documentation that coincides with meeting the requirements of customers. The successful Technical Coordinator will be able to provide a cost-effective method to office management, and will also have the responsibility of ensuring data is stored and recorded. The role of Technical Coordinator will require a strong knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) within the defence industry. Previous experience of meeting the requirements of stakeholders and understanding, reading and producing stakeholder documentation would be required for this position, also knowledge of the SHE management systems would be advantageous.

Essential skills;

  • Extensive experience in a SHE support role, including updating SHE Scorecards, production of local SHE data and trends and monitoring progress of SHE improvement plans
  • Previous involvement in supporting or holding meetings
  • Demonstrable experience of fulfilling stakeholder requirements
  • Updating visual management boards
  • Significant knowledge of maintaining and managing technical documentation
  • Knowledge of the defence industry
  • Knowledge of SHE Management Systems is desirable
