Position: Quality Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
A respected and highly regarded Contractor is seeking to assign a Quality Engineer to a longstanding marine project located in Scotland.
As the Quality Engineer, your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of the Quality Assurance Team, is responsible for checking compliance of the activities on site, assisting QA on site.
- Identifying potential defects and providing advice in corrective and preventive actions.
- Assisting Quality Manager in the monitoring and recording of implementation of UK Quality Management System, providing help in the setting up of project plans and protocols.
- To provide advice to Dragados and Suppliers in good practices.
- To develop an appropriate knowledge of the works information.
- To collaborate with the rest of the QA department in the compilation of QA documentation.
- Average time dedication on site for the role will be 60% of time.
- Participating in the implementation and monitoring of the UK-QMS.
- Analysing corrective and preventive actions and reporting to QA Manager.
