Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Environmental Assessment Specialist our public-sector client for an initially 6 weeks contract £196 per day based in Edinburgh.
In this role, you will be expected to undertake a wide variety of Strategic environmental assessments eg energy, transport, land use planning.
Main duties:
- Preparation of screening, scoping, environmental reports and post adoption statements,
- Collection of environmental baseline information,
- Undertaking of desk based assessments
Essential Skills:
- Extensive experience of undertaking Strategic Environmental Assessments
- Working knowledge of Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005
- Degree in relevant discipline - eg environmental assessment, environmental management, geography, planning etc.
