Our client is seeking Business Analyst Team Lead
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze performance, identify problem areas, and document resolutions
- Serving in lead role as advanced level subject matter expert, providing authoritative guidance for professional staff.
- Supervising and planning the work of assigned staff
- Use of metrics (Key Performance Indicators) to evaluate staff for optimal performance
- Administer disciplinary action as needed
- Handle escalations
- Analyzing information to determine customer requirements and concerns
- Conducting quality assessments of operating procedures to ensure that change management procedures are met
- Developing change management plans for transition to new or upgraded systems
- Providing customer support in the maintenance of systems
- Serving as a liaison between customers and technical staff in implementation and development of business process automation
- Collaborating with vendors and/or technical staff to ensure that the functionality of automated systems are consistent with laws, regulations, and best practices
Requirements
- BS or BA in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent related experience
- Experience working as a Business Analyst or related role, 4+ years
- Experience working with both customer groups & IT resources
- Experience developing/prototyping products, software applications, and/or data modeling is a plus
- Experience with automated reporting tools and methodologies is a plus
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people and vice versa
- Must have the ability to work closely with customers in defining and documenting business requests and requirements to determine current and future business processes
- Experience in analyzing information using various statistical methods to identify patterns is a plus
- Experience developing reports and presentations to share analysis results and recommendations with management and others a plus
- Must have exceptional interpersonal teamwork skills
- Must be pro-active in solving work-related problems
- Must be self-motivated to accomplish goals and meet deadlines
