Manufacturing Engineer

Duration:1 year contract
£30 per hour

The successful applicant will be working as part of a technical team focused on continuous improvement activities, efficiency improvements on production lines, new product introduction, equipment qualification and manufacturing data analysis for both Class 1 Medical Device and Pharmaceutical products. The role will involve interaction with internal manufacturing, logistics and technical colleagues and possible interaction with customers/suppliers. You will be expected to set clear standards and lead by example when working with internal and external contacts.
Must have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Knowledge of Medical Device and Drug Product Quality Systems and GMP for the EU, USA and ROW ISOs plus Orange Guide is desirable.
A Formal Engineering Qualification Mechanical/Electrical HNC/HND NVQ level 3 or equivalent BTEC ONC, C&G Technician or equivalent is essential.
