Senior Project Manager (Digital Web/SDLC)
Exciting opportunity to work with an industry leading organization as a Project Manager. This is an incredible opportunity to be on the highest profile team and deliver innovative products within their industry.
In this role, you will manage new software development projects and with a dynamic internal team, customers and upper level management to achieve project goals, manage resources and meet budget requirements. The ideal candidate will be well versed in initiating meetings, planning agendas and be able to conduct and provide project status and issue management to ensure the team is in-sync.
You will be working in a fast-pace team with two week sprints where you will take ownership of deliverables and communicate status and any project risks through stand ups and team meetings. Experience performing scope changes, recommending new courses of action and escalating project risks to stakeholders is required as well as experience successfully implementing IT projects.
This is a 6 month contract position in Atlanta, GA with a leading organization.. REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 8+ years experience as a Project Manager
- Experience working in a highly technical software development environment
- Digital, consumer facing, web-based products (Preferably 2+ years)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-collaborative teams
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- BS in Computer Science, MIS, Business or equivalent experience
- Responsive Web products
- PMP
- Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Mobile Applications and/or Connected Devices
- Experience working with content APIs
- Burndown charts
- Experience working in cloud environment (AWS and/or Azure)
