My high profile Investment Management client is recruiting for an RFP Writer to join their Distribution department in London on a 6 month contract.
The role holder will manage the process of delivering new business pitch documents, including RFPs and RFIs, and meeting on-going new business requirements from consultants and clients for information updates and due diligence questionnaires to support the business development and international growth.
Responsibilities
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and DDQs: Complete accurate, timely, high quality submissions in response to requests from prospective/existing clients and consultants.
- Product specialisation: Build on existing product knowledge and work with other areas of the business to improve written product content. Take the lead on RFPs in specialist areas eg Fixed Income or LDI, as required by the business
- Respond to general enquiries: Respond to general enquiries for information and data from internal and external clients
- Standard RFPs and RFP supporting information: Provide guidance and also back-up support for the business development RFP executive in updating on a quarterly basis and ad-hoc where appropriate
- Maintain central sources of information: Ensure that the team adheres to good standards in maintaining centrally held folders to support RFP work
- Relationship management: Build good working relationships with the client account management team, consultant relations, data, product specialists, sales, marketing services and other key teams within the wider business.
- Team responsibilities: Work with team members to support work, flow, contribute to key projects, and support ad hoc tasks.
Key corporate relationships:
Client account management team, consultant relations, data, product specialists, sales, marketing services and other key teams within the wider business.
External clients include:
Investment consultants, corporate pension funds and other institutional clients and intermediaries.
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong knowledge of Asset Classes (Index, Fixed Income, Fund Management)
- Strong Investment writing experience
- Asset management/hedge fund/consultant background preferred
- RFP writing experience
