Description
A big 4 Consultancy have an urgent requirement for a Tax Audit Specialist in either Leeds or Edinburgh on a 6 month contractual basis.
Scope of work
You will be the acting as tax specialist on audits in the financial services industry, you will review client tax accounting workings and managing the input of other specialists to address risks and reach conclusions around uncertain tax positions.
You will proactively manage deadlines and billing requirements, liaise with the audit teams and delegating effectively to junior staff whilst documenting audit conclusions in line with standards.
The Candidate
You will currently be a Tax Audit Specialist with strong experience of the financial services industry.
Your other key skills and experience might include:
- Reviewing client tax workings
- Addressing Tax Risk
- Advise on uncertain tax positions.
