Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major client in the UK. We are currently recruiting Accounts Payable based in London for 3 months (with possibility of extension)..
Essential Experience
- AP Specialist with extensive experience of SAP
- Experience on Barclays.NET platform for uploading payments and understanding of the controls around segregation of duties.
- General Accounting experience
- Posting AP and Bank related journals on a timely basis
- Performing monthly Inter-company reconciliations
- Performing AP reconciliations and supplier reconciliations
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Experience of working with customers in case of disputes on invoices
- Understanding of UK VAT rules compliance
- Methodical approach in handling multiple responsibilities
- Experience of working with Off-shore teams
