A leading renown client based in the heart of Gothenburg, Sweden is currently on the lookout for a Lead Fullstack JavaScript Developer on a 3 month contract which is likely to extend!
Working with research + development team for this renown client you will be driving real agile change, with you key skills in Agile/Lean Development(An ongoing series of experiments using various technologies to rapidly iterate,test and prototype solutions to business problems).
As the Lead Fullstack JavaScript Developer you will be providing 6 week iterations with different teams to accelerate Agile transformation.
As such, the successful candidate must be able to lead the renown client on this journey and teach them new ways-of-working, so exceptional communication skills are essential.
For example, this person is required to:
- Present progress to clients senior management at weekly showcases
- Lead workshops with dev teams and user testing groups
- Pair-code with other devs between every day between 10:00 and 17:00
Team size candidate is responsible for:
- The client are working in small teams of T shaped folk. Roughly 1-2 techys, 1-2 UX/design, delivery lead and a product owner.
Ratio of hands on coding: management/planning/stakeholder engagement
This will vary depending on the needs at the time, but the majority of time will likely be spent coding. The client aren't spending countless hours trying to devise the perfect future-proof solution for every possible problem. We re learning rapidly through experimentation and then acting on what we learn.

They will use whatever tool is best for the job with the current team in mind, and we re not afraid to move to something else if it helps us better achieve our goals. The tech stack should involve tools that allow us to develop and release quickly.
