Contract Rate: Euro 300 per day Max
Contract Length: 3 Months - With extensions
Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit a Contract Blockchain Developer to join their client in Rome, Italy.
Under the supervision of the ICT Solutions Coordinator, ICT, and the project manager, the successful candidate will have extensive development experience and some knowledge and experience of developing on a blockchain technology such as Ethereum.
Deliverables:
The incumbent will work closely with the ICT team, to develop an initial blockchain pilot, with the following deliverables:
- Advise on technology choices - with consequences for security, sharing, scalability and sustainability
- Participate in workshops to evaluate use cases
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline with at least five years of professional work experience as an engineer or software developer
- At least 5 years of professional work experience as an engineer or software developer.
- Experience working with large codebases and open source technologies
- Expert proficiency in at least one web stack, Java, C++, GoLang or Javascript
- Understanding of cryptography
- Some experience of developing on a blockchain technology such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, NEM or others
- Any experience of developing smart contracts would be valued
- Experience of developing applications integrations (REST APIs, XML, JSON)
- Experience of developing multi-device applications (native, hybrid, webapps)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Blockchain industry and technology
- Some knowledge of the FinTech sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English essential.
