Description
Desktop Support Engineers are responsible for providing touch support to the end users for any desktop/
laptop/printer issues. The ideal candidate should possess basic knowledge in networking and system administration.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and update assigned support service requests
- Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network and server management
- Support the mobile devices for registering
- Train end users on usage of computer hardware and software
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in Desktop support is a plus, handling issues in Windows OS
- Good knowledge on computer hardware, Desktop Operating systems and OS deployment using MDT, SCCM or any other tools a plus
- Basic knowledge on network management a plus
- Possess strong troubleshooting, reasoning and problem solving skills
- Constantly seeks to improve technical knowledge and researches new product capabilities
- Must be fluent in both English and Japanese
Ability to:
- Have flexibility to be placed in a position based on business needs.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills both in Japanese and English
- Provide high level of customer service
- Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills
- Perform multitask effectively in a fast paced environment
