Senior Test Engineer Contract Dublin 6-18 months.
My client a global leading firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join their Front Office technology team on a contract basis, that is likely to roll from 6 up to 18 months in total.
Candidates Should ideally have QA experience in the Investment Banking/Capital Markets. You will have Very good knowledge with FX Front Office applications, Trade life cycle, Straight Through process and excellent products knowledge with FX Options, Spot, Forwards and Swaps. You will Very good knowledge with any one of the regulatory implementation such as MIFID II, EMIR, Dodd Frank etc. Candidates will have a Good understanding of the SDLC, Knowledge of QA methodologies including test planning. Candidates will have experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA and Testcase management tools such as HP-Quality Centre. Maintain software testing artefacts
Successful candidates will have Hands on with functional UI testing tools such as UFT, Test Complete and Selenium and Scripting languages like python, Perl, Shell script etc and be able to work well within the constructs of an agile process, including SCRUM, Continuous Build and Integration, etc. You will have ability to handle multiple projects concurrently; able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. It would be seen as an advantage to have exposure to Middle Office and Back Office functions and exposure to Scripting languages such as Shell script, python etc and Good understanding of lower environment (QA/SIT/UAT/Staging) and production environments.
