Project Overview - Global Client
- Identification of the weakest security points in the client's site IT infrastructure.
- Analysis of the root causes of the security vulnerabilities.
- Recommendations for cost-effective solutions for the identified security vulnerabilities.
- Remediation and mitigation initial planning.
Review the following:
- Internet perimeter and remote access to the network.
- Corporate network architecture.
- Key interfaces to third parties and partners.
- Critical applications.
- Wireless network.
- Data management policies, procedures and mechanisms.
- Security domains:
- Cyber security operations, threat monitoring and incident response
- Network level security.
- Server, endpoint and mobile level security.
- Application level security.
- Cloud security.
- Sensitive data and privacy management.
- Identity management and remote access.
- Physical Security to the IT infrastructure
Activities:
- Threat modelling process including main asset identification and potential threat sources
- IT infrastructure, network architecture and network segmentation and Firewall rule-base assessment
- Internet connectivity strategy, Internet perimeter and exposed services assessment
- Endpoints, Servers and network equipment security policies and configuration assessment
- Application level security including
- Sensitive data management including DLP (Data Leakage Protection) strategy, data encryption, access monitoring and role-based access control assessment
- Identity management and remote access assessment
There is extensive global travel with this role including Australia, Spain, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore. This is initially a 3-4 month contract but is very likely to extend. Contact Keith Wilkins in the first instance to discuss this role further or send through your CV for review.
