Peak A Trip - www.peakatrip.com - is a Swedish P2P platform that will change the adventure tourismindustry. After developing the platform close to a test group release, we are now in a phase where we
need to test the current functionality in a few adventures, with cooperative adventurers/travelers and
providers, and then adjust whatever functionality needs to be adjusted. After this we have a minimum 12
month backlog to implement, with continued releases; hence we are looking for one, or maximum two,
developers that are independant, communicative, driven, creative and ambitious. We previously had a
larger team in Kiev in periods during the last two years, but In this phase the project needs just one full
stack developer ninja that can work independently. Let us call it the core of a larger team that will be built,
once we have tested the platform. Next to being professional, curious, responsive, independent, positive
and energetic, it is a major advantage if you see yourself as a person who wish to grow with a startup that
you consider your own. We are not looking for someone who wants to jump around between employers,
but rather someone who believes in creating success through self confident and ambitious work.
Someone who wants to become a part of Peak A Trip, and grow into both added responsibilities and
part-ownership. Your tasks will range from requirements analysis, design and implementation to bug
corrections, integration, performance improvements, build management and deploy strategies. You do not
have to know everything to apply, but you must be willing and capable to learn through self education.
Full stack developer profile
(Some experience required, as well as a strong interest to learn more.)
? Web development of RESTful applications in Python / Django.
? Python, Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3,
jQuery, Redis, Celery, Selenium, ElasticSearch, AJAX.
? Responsive Design (Bootstrap), Knowledge of OOP.
? Experience from source control systems like Git.
? Good to have knowledge of BEM.
? Experience of TypeScript, NPM, webpack is an advantage.
? Experience in making mobile app layout is good to have.
? API integration (SMS notifications, payments etc).
General requirements and information
? Good English, both spoken and specifically written, is needed to work in the project.
? Long term commitment is valued.
? Full time (40 hours per week), home based work or from colocation center of your choice.
? Freelance basis. Possible travels to Sweden will be paid for and organized by PAT management.
