Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Heat Specialist - Project Engineer to be based in London for an initial period of 06 months with possible extension.
Role: Heat Specialist - Project Engineer
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: London
Minimum Requirement:
* Providing independent analysis on behalf of the Department on technical standards (eg Heat Network Code of Practice, Heat Interface Unit testing, Water Source Heat Pump installation etc.)
* Assessing methodologies for measuring emissions in future building regulations (SAP) with particular regards to heat networks;
* Understanding and integrating planning policy into HNDU guidance;
* Carrying out independent energy modelling, system sizing and route mapping;
* Carrying out shadow appraisals of the Heat Network Investment Project (HNIP) Delivery Partner project assessments;
* Input into certain areas to assist with policy evidence gathering
