Summary

Excellent initial 6 month contract with large project scope. A challenging role for a strong programme Director has opened up, this will suit someone with experience of delivering complex projects and strong front-to-back product experience. A strong personality is required for this position with a capacity to manage a multitude of requests in a complex environment, which demands a high level of excellence.

Job Description

Some of your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Define project scope, draft project charters and obtain sign-off from sponsors.
  • Provide leadership and drive projects to On Time/On Budget/On Scope delivery, You will be working on a lot of costing and budgeting.

  • Provide regular and ad hoc programme or project reporting for various internal and external committees
  • Conduct & provide ad hoc analysis on specific topics at project level for the relevant Boards and Committees,

  • Ensure compliance with the Group project life cycle policy & framework.

  • Provide effective & suitable project related communication to appropriate stakeholders

Some of the key skills you will need are:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French as this is an English speaking role.

  • Proven record in managing complex functional project/programme and writing programme related documentation in English

  • Experiences with working in programmes and projects (Business and Market Finance)
  • Ideally some Market Risk Exposure
  • Strong numerical (at ease with budget & financial issues) and analytical skills

  • Experience with using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, MSP
