Description
We have a website quite outdated (old version of Joomla and components).We would like to upgrade it to the last versions of all those tools and eventually continue the collaboration in the future to maintain it. We eventually plan to change hoster and/or upgrade the server version.
Here are the basic information about it :
Current State:
Hosted on OVH,
Disk pace: 500GB
DB: mysql 5.5, 5GB
PHP 4.4
Joomla 3.6.5
ftp & ssh access
Admin tool for backups & DB management (phpmyadmin)
Newsletter via Acymailing
Multi-language option seems corrupt/does not work
Problems to solve:
Get the site to run on PHP 7.2 (the site does not display correctly when we try to do update PHP). This is the biggest one.
Upgrade from Joomla 3.6.5 (modules: K2, AcyMailing, Edocman, DJ-Image Slider, Flexi Contact, Phoca Gallery, Web Links) to 3.9.0 or newer
Make Joomla module Edocman work (currently Edocman search works ok, but does not allow the upload of the document)
Identify why the NL is not received by most users and find best solution for automated newsletter (up to 2000 users 1x per week)
Repair/Make the multi language option work.
