We are working strategically with one of our core clients who is looking for Progress application developer.

Scope of the project

• Looking for mid level role to give support in APP implemented project.
• Ability to work independently on team/project-based initiatives
• The ability to mentor other developers and take the lead on key project elements
• Business process analysis skills

Experience:

• • 5+ years IT experience as a Progress application developer, with equal expertise in graphical and character-based interfaces.
  • 2 - 3 + year's experience with Unix/Linux OS and shell scripting
  • Experience with OpenEdge and Pacific AppServer packages and H2 DB preferred.
  • Good experience working with additional relational database management software, such as SQL or Oracle.
  • Experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience with GitHub or equivalent.
  • Experience configuring application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat is a plus.
  • Front end development skills using JavaScript, HTML5, Bootstrap, JQuery, CSS3, debugging and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented development especially within OpenEdge Storefront, Apache Tomcat, Agile, J2EE experience
  • Knowledge of source code control applications and how they fit into the SDLC
  • Web Server Experience IIS/Apache
  • Prior Agile/SCRUM development methodology experience
  • Proficient design, coding, testing and debugging skills
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux Operating System and commands
  • Dutch Speaking
