Account Manager

This position supports the Global Participant Operations team managing operational relationships and solving day to day issues primarily with Network partners like franchises, partner networks and acquirers.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

- Provide day to day support for Network acquirers, network to network partners, issuers and processors. This includes researching complex situations, and supporting the participants an all aspect of operations and managing participant operational relationships.

- Support participants through the semi annual release process. This includes managing and coordinating certification, ensuring the Participants are in compliance with operating Rule and Regulations

- Implement new network products (DPAS, Digital, ProtectBuy, etc.) and provides level 1 support for product implementation and remediation item.

- Support the Quality of Acceptance Initiatives by managing the participants within the assigned portfolio. Activities include but are not limited to analysing end to end transaction processing, help to trouble shoot any card declines or card holder acceptance complaints, and the support of issuer launches with priority.

KEY SKILLS/COMPETENCIES and PROFICIENCY LEVELS

- Bachelor's Degree or 7+ years of relevant work experience.

- Demonstrated cross functional knowledge and experience in the working of a card scheme ecosystem (merchants/Acquirer/Network/Issuers/card members)

- Experience and knowledge in working of, technical and operational knowledge in authorization, clearing/settlement, and dispute process

- Experience with rollout of digital products/solutions including EMV, 3D Secure etc

- Strong project management skills including reporting with experience managing multi-faceted project throughout the entire project life cycle.

- Strong reporting and tracking skills with comfort in using tools like SalesForce, SharePoint, Excel etc.

- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple engagements and priorities in parallel.

- Self-motivated, demonstrated ability to work independently with little direct supervision and flexible with working hours.

- Strong communication skills which allow effective communication with all levels of employees, customers and management.

- Excellent writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to create presentations, reports and persuasive papers (position papers).

- Skills developing and delivering presentations to both internal and external audiences.

- Ability to analyze existing processes and identify ways to automate and streamline them.

- Fluent speaking and writing in European languages with Italian a big plus.
