Description
For a bank in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Big Data Engineer (focus: Cassandra). In this role your main tasks will be working on building and maintaining new features inside the security of bank transactions. You will do this together with a DevOps team of engineers.
You have:
- Knowledge of the following technologies (Cassandra, Hadoop, ELK stack, Neo4j, MongoDB etc.)
- Scripting/programming skills for automation tasks
- Practical experience in using machine learning models on distributed cloud computing
This job consists of:
- Developing and supporting Big Data platforms: 40%
- Researching and testing new functionalities to improve monitoring capabilities: 30%
- Automating operational tasks: 30%
