One of my top is Currently looking for an Azure Solution Architect
The Azure Solution Architect will ideally have 70% + below technical competencies:
- Cloud Platforms: Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Development frameworks: .Net, JAVA, JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Services
- PaaS platform (any two): Azure PAAS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, IBM Bluemix, SAP Cloud Platform, RedHat OpenShift
- Containerisation platform: Kubernetes, Docker
- Big Data: HDInsight, Spark, Hadoop, Grafana, Kibana
- Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service
- Azure ARM Template knowledge and deployment methods using ARM and JSON
- Experience and knowledge of PowerShell
- Knowledge of ASR, Automation Accounts, OMS, Log Analytics
- Knowledge of Azure AD, identity and license management
- Knowledge of Azure Security Center, Key Vault 3etc
The Azure Solution Architect will be responsible for the following:
- This is an advisory role in which you will collaborate with multiple application and projects teams working on launching new services or updating of existing applications/services.
- You will onboard them as part of the Cloud Platform Adoption team
- Starting with review of key requirements (FR/NFR) and conceptual and logical architecture.
- Followed by multiple interactions to map the functional architecture with the corresponding Azure Building blocks (both IAAS and PAAS).
- You will be comfortable in dealing with Ambiguity and use your strong background to guide various internal teams in defining the right solution pattern in-line with the Cloud Platform foundation built on Azure.
