MECHANICAL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER/Mechanical Engineer
BRISTOL
12 MONTH CONTRACT
£35-37 per hour LTD/UMBRELLA
Huxley Engineering are working with a leading Engineering/Manufacturing company based near Bristol, close to the M5, who are now seeking a Mechanical Development Engineer on a temporary basis. The initial contract duration is 12 months but there is a high chance this could extend further.
They design high tech, special purpose machinery and systems. If successful, you will be working in a multidisciplinary project team assigned to new product introduction. The brief is to support the design, development and introduction of their next generation flagship products.
The Mechanical Development Skills Required are:-
- Strong hands-on engineering skills, be fully capable of establishing and executing verification testing of systems
- Be able to read and work with drawings and P&ID diagrams
- Solid understanding of machine systems and control behaviour
- Data analysis and report preparation
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications
- 3D CAD skills are beneficial but not essential
