For our customer based in Ireland, Next Ventures is currently seeking an experienced Data Migration Analyst as part of their ongoing SAP migration.
Start: Latest 1st February 2019
Duration: 6 months, full time
Requirement:
Data migration analyst in the finance ERP team with a focus on the general ledger migration objects.
The applicant must have previous finance experience and a clear understanding of the use of general ledger accounts within the finance function. The candidate should have previous data migration experience in an ERP project.
The candidate will be responsible for analysing existing data in Legacy system and ensuring the most effective migration process is implemented in preparation for cut over. The role requires liaising with the business and other project team members to ensure all requirements are met.
The candidate should have good excel skills
SAP experience an advantage
Responsibilities/activities include:
- Analysing and reviewing the existing process by obtaining a strong understanding of existing data along with requirements from new system
- Obtain a clear understanding of the existing reporting requirements and ensure the migrated data is in line with requirements/expectations
- Conduct detailed reconciliation of translated data to raw data to ensure complex mappings have been implemented correctly, investigate any discrepancies and identify solution
