Sales Insights Analyst
Based in the heart of Dublin's Silicon Docks (Dublin 2), our client has been at the forefront in changing the Internet and online technologies as we know it.
They require a Sales Insights Analyst with 3-5 years of analytical work experience, including extensive database query (eg SQL) & spreadsheet to join them, initially on an 11-month contract.

What will a Sales Insights Analyst do?
- Work closely with the organisation to understand the Business Intelligence & insights needs of all end users, from reps on the sales floor to the executive leadership team.
- Iteratively design & prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale that meet the needs of your sales business partners.
- Provide thought leadership to the organization, translating data into actionable insights, with a focus on driving efficiency & revenue growth.
What does the Ideal Candidate look like?
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with quantitative focus (economics, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or accounting).
- 3-5 years of analytical work experience, including extensive database query (eg SQL) & spreadsheet experience.
- Experience working with stakeholders
Desired:
- Proven track record of thought leadership in applying data driven models that have had a tangible impact on sales and marketing operations across international markets.
- Distinctive problem solving and structuring skills, with ability to understand user issues & resolve through review & correction of complex SQL queries, and/or provision of user education.
- Strong project management skills, with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously & to tight deadlines in a high paced and dynamic environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams located around the globe in different time zones.
- Knowledge of industrial grade IS architectures and reporting tools (eg Tableau, QlikView) is an advantage.
