Description

Technical Engineer - Hardware & Software - Klundert, Netherlands

An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Engineer, to be based in Klundert, Netherlands. The post holder will be responsible for installing and configuring hardware and software on a high volume of computers, printers and other products on a daily basis, using provided scripted build documents. Some quality assurance responsibilities will also be given.

  • Configure customers systems to their required specifications.
  • Basic Imaging of customer end user systems, using a range of provided methods
  • Have the ability to support both hardware and software faults
  • Configuration of Mobile devices using supplied build scripts
  • Basic hardware upgrades of end user systems - RAM, HDD, Keyboard etc
  • Test systems to ensure 100% quality.
  • Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
  • Communicate issues concerning customer orders to the Help Desk or Team Leader.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Ideal Experience:

  • Proven analytical skills and the ability to solve problems
  • CompTIA A+ qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential
  • Very good organisational skills and ability to keep focus on quality
  • Ability to quickly learn about new technology and keep pace with an ever-changing industry
  • Demonstrate ability to lift and carry up to 15kg of force frequently (34-67% of the workday) and up to 25kg of force occasionally (0-33% of the workday). A buddy lift system must be utilized for loads weighing more than 25kg.
