Description
Primary objectives:
- Associate will be working with the Middleware team at Bradford, UK.
- The primary objective will be to set-up the Docker container platform in the environment.
- Eventually, the Weblogic environment should run on the container platform.
Responsibilities:
- Expected to manage and set-up the Weblogic on the Docker platform in the environment.
- Candidate will be playing a senior consultant role in the team, working closely with the other architects and client teams.
- Candidate will be expected to manage all the deployments and resolve the related issues.
- Should be able to manage the existing Jenkins scripts and write new ones based on the requirement. (Clear understanding of continuous integration and continuous development)
- Candidate will be working with the team, Oracle Middleware Infrastructure.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
Required - Weblogic 12c, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Linux Shell Scripting, load balancers. Good to have - Maven, Perforce, Red Hat OpenShift
Experience required:
Senior Weblogic administrator with Docker platform expert - 8 - 10 years of Experience.
