Eximius are partnered with a leading client based in the Reading are who require a DevOps Technical Lead resource for an initial 3 month rolling contract.
My client is looking for an experienced DevOps Tech lead to work within their Data Analytics division and provide leadership and direction to the current team from a best practice, quality assurance and governance perspective.
The successful candidate will be delivering an Azure DevOps platform to support a number of project across their Trading, Networks, Enterprise ans B2B business units. You will be working with 3rd party service providers to ensure code comes in on time, to quality and in line with the overall analytics principles. As well as third party teams you will be working with the in-house teams on delivery of code and data to production.
Experience required
- Strong experience in Azure analytics components ie Data Lake store, Visual Studio, Power BI, HDinsight, Data Factory, SQL and SSIS
- Agile and DevOps development methodology and concepts as applied to data driven analytics projects.
- Must have experience in Powershell Scripting for deploying Infrastructure as Code
- Proven experience in designing and building CI/CD pipelines and operating solutions using Azure cloud technologies
- Experience with volume data handling with automated data driven testing such as Apache/Spark.
- Strong knowledge of Big Data processing
- Working with technical and non-technical stakeholders communicating analytics concepts
