My client, a leading Consultancy who's end client is one of the largest Financial Services institutions in the world is currently recruiting for an experienced Enterprise Architect to take responsibility for the delivery of a number of global architecture activities.
The successful candidate will be a proven Enterprise Architect with extensive experience of delivery Architecture project within Financial Services.
Responsibilities:
The Core Banking Enterprise Architect takes responsibility for delivery of a number of global architecture activities.
The job holder leads the shaping, design and development of architectures which are aligned with group standards, IT and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory and operational risk controls.
The Core Banking Enterprise Architect is responsible for participating in and assuring the operation of the global practice of architecture within the team.
The Core Banking portfolio focusses on working with the Core Banking teams to improve the capability and technology available to our staff and customers, whilst delivering to our Core Banking strategy that sees us significantly modernise our Core Banking IT landscape and accelerate delivering to our customer facing and operations business.
The role involves shaping these initiatives, ensuring that relevant standards, products and guidelines are met in teams of approach to process transformation and automation.
The job holder will work with the Core Banking IT and Projects team along with the various business and IT teams and IT colleagues to design, agree and support the delivery across organisation.
As part of the Architecture team, the job holder will also ensure that architectural direction is consistent across the service line through constant and effective engagement with architecture colleagues.
Required Experience:
10 years' experience of Solution Architecture
5 years' Financial Services experience
Experience in architecture across enterprise wide systems for 5 years.
Core Banking experience beneficial.
Experience with modernising of Mainframe or heritage systems beneficial.
