Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the role is to support the month-end financial close process through the posting of journals and reconciliations. The role will also focus on ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are regularly reviewed and all processes are executed in accordance with the controls framework
Key Accountabilities
Direct
- Effectively execute month end accounting processes, including
- Intercompany mismatch correction and settlement.
- System interfaces into SAP.
- Journal postings.
Indirect
- Provide feedback on General Ledger
- Standard Operating Proceedures both on and offshore
- Build relationships with offshore providers such that service is seamlessly provided and quality is controlled.
- Actively engage with PeX methodology through, escalating process blockers, and supporting the implementation of solutions jointly with other stakeholders where appropriate.
- Deliver service as a key part of all processes, ensuring service is reliable, responsive, and easy to deal with.
- Ensure all processes are documented.
- Ensure processes are executed in accordance with relevant SoX and business controls.

Experience
Essential
- Finance experience in a process role
Relevant
- Relevant finance experience in a shared service finance function.
- Finance role in a SoX environment
- Past experience working with offshore contracts.
Qualifications
CIMA, CPA, ACA, AAT or ACCA part qualified
