Description
As the Financial Systems Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial systems projects within the Corporate Services Portfolio. Prior experience includes initiating projects, gathering requirements, strong delivery management and maintaining project schedule. Partners with Finance and Operation Leaders in the organization to ensure success.
Responsibilities:
Manages multiple projects simultaneously and independently;
Provides updates to the Sr. Program/Portfolio Manager;
Elicits and documents the business requirements;
Creates and maintains the work plans;
Identifies project risks/issues and manages mitigation plans;
Communicates project status to directly to stakeholders;
Adheres to the PMO governance (controls);
Manages the project budget;
Manages risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;
Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies;
Manages and utilizes resources across projects;
Manages stakeholders' communication;
Maintains the project documentation and ensure traceability with deliverables;
Required Experience:

5+ years in Project management

3+ years managing Financial Systems projects

3+ years gathering and documenting requirements

Strong practical experience in project management which was gained through managing financial system projects end to end.

Knowledge and handling of project management methodology and techniques;

Understanding of the requirements and traceability through delivery

Ability to work positively with a wide range of technical and business stakeholders

Strong leadership and management skills;

Strong communication and presentation skills;

The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.

Formal project management training

Bachelor's Degree - Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration
