Description
A Retail Payments Architect with commercial financial services experience is required to join a Tier 1 bank as part of the team delivering a multi-year programme to create a challenger bank focused on commercial customers.
The role will be focused on the design and communication of structures to enable and guide the design and development of payments solutions that meet current and future
business needs
- Full responsibility for architectural and technical input to requirements qualification and
- business approval meetings
- Shaping technical proposals and defining the approach for the commercial banking
- payments solution across the ADLC including continuous development and integration,
- controlling technical scope and the work of the design team in order to ensure an acceptable
- cost structure that is aligned with the required quality outcomes
- Contributing to the definition of the payments architecture, designing new solutions of
- global scale and complexity, and managing the work of specialists contributing to the design,
- development and implementation
- Extensive Retail banking payments experience.
- Extensive domestic and international payments experience - knowledge of CHAPS, Faster
- payments etc.
- Architectural responsibility for navigating between the current state payments architecture
- and impacts of the new payments architecture (NPA)
- Specific knowledge and experience with microservices and a background with API's
