Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Software Tester for a 6-month contract position in Elkridge, MD. Selected candidate will be joining a team responsible for the testing initiatives related to data integration (data ingress/egress), so experience working on similar projects is essential. Individual will design, create and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts related to the data integration platform and data integration business rules. There will be a mix of manual and automated testing in this position, with an emphasis on automation. Selected candidate will be working alongside the Development Team to write automation test scripts. Should have experience with mainstream testing tools (eg, Selenium, QTP, etc.) Candidate should have solid understanding of integration, positive, negative, regression and functional testing. Individual should also understand data flow, parsing, ingress and egress. Candidate must have some experience with SQL for database testing/data validation. Finally, candidate must possess strong communication skills and an interest in learning new technologies and skills. Should be able to take ownership of key initiatives, take command of situations and communicate professionally with all levels of an organization. Prior healthcare industry experience would be a plus.
