Economist - Contract - Westminster - CTC clearance
High profile public sector government organisation looking for an SEO level Economist to join on a contractual basis.
You will be supporting the lead Economist with:
1) Economic case (with inputs into the Finance Case too) on a Business Case.
2) Coordinate and provide strategic economic overview on the analysis produced for the Environment Bill. This means impacts on businesses, the environment and government finances.
Ideally a BA or Masters in Economics with a background in policy appraisal, cost benefit analysis, public finance and strong business case writing.
Having worked in central gov before is essential to the duties of this role.
