Electrical Design Engineer- EPLAN

Working with a range of hi-value automated machinery you will take responsibility for all Electrical design related tasks for a company who have some hugely ambitious growth plans for 2018. The main bulk of the role will be to provide technical documentation for control systems using EPLAN software and then to design to relevant IEC and ISO standards.
This role is working in the New product development team and will combine hands on electrical engineering skills with EPLAN experience. This is a contract role and will run until the end of August but it is likely this could be extended after this period on a rolling 3 month basis.
The position will involve a mix of design using EPLAN software whilst also having the ability to troubleshoot on various electrical related manufacturing issues. As you will take ownership of electrical design you will also be required to keep up to date with all UK, EU and international legislation.
For this role you will need:
- A degree or some formal qualifications in automation control or electrical engineering.
- 5 years experience
- Hands on experience of EPLAN electric P8 software.
