We are working strategically with one of our core clients who is looking for an experienced and highly knowledgeable Solution Designer in Maastricht,Netherlands.
The Solution Designer is responsible for ensuring that the business requirements within the Discovery and Define phase are understood and captured. The role requires closely working with all stakeholders (Business sponsors, analysts, technical domain teams, testing and operations) to ensure that the business expectation are met and required technical solution and process is delivered.
Responsibilities:
- Manage domain stakeholder engagement and work efficiently with these stakeholders and their business and technical stakeholders in understanding and supporting their business goals.
- Review the existing processes to understand the business model.
- Convert business requirements into technical requirements and also provide a high level solution.
- Gathering information about high-level back-office architecture as well as about capabilities and limitations of the specific services.
- Produce technical solutions for the client application development team based on the gathered information and business requirements
- Perform business requirements grooming with product owners, business analysts and tech leads
- Prepare integrated HLD across Telco domains of OSS, BSS etc.
- Excellent English language skills. Dutch (verbal and written) will be a huge plus
Knowledge and experience
- Computer science degree or equivalent experience and you have minimum 5 years of experience in the IT sector, including 2 years in IT architecture design
- Total experience not less than 10 years
- Experience of complex integrated systems projects in the Telco sector
- Understanding of business requirements and expectations
- Good knowledge of UI/UX processes technologies, Application Server, Enterprise Service Bus, DBs, development methodologies
- Understanding of business processes and flows
- End to end Technical Delivery experience
- Liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Leadership - ability to manage, motivate & develop a direct team and in a matrix environment
Technical / professional qualifications
- Experience on end to end Telecom BSS solution architecture
- Understanding of new technologies
- Experience on any major system such as CRM, Order management, Billing, Orchestration etc. and any COTS products.
- Able to engage with business stakeholders on various technical issues and best practices.
