Overview:

Simpson Booth are supporting a major IT consultancy in the recruitment of a Microsoft Office 365 engineer for a highly attractive contract at the end customer's headquarters in the beautiful city of Zaragoza, Spain.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a contract in a long and very stable English-speaking project for a multinational and well-known industrial manufacturer.

This is a contract autonomo position (freelancer) with an initial duration of 1 year, with the potential for annual extension. You will be earning an attractive day rate of EUR, in accordance with the affordable cost of living in Spain.

Only those with proven years of IT systems engineering experience and advanced fluency in written and spoken English will be considered for this position. Experience:

The ideal candidate will have excellent engineering skills, experience with Scripting languages such PowerShell as well as Azure Active Directory is a must. Experience with software packaging and distribution processes specifically for Office 365 applications are a plus. He/She will be required to work effectively with internal and external customers and have to demonstrate leadership within scope of responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:

O365 application engineering/configuration/performance responsibility across multiple Operating Systems

Assisting project teams with technical implementation of new requirements and project participation to engineer new solutions

3rd level supporting and related general ticket dispatching for the client's branches worldwide

Ensuring up time, performance and security of the systems

Maintain, monitor, analyse systems in place and make recommendations for improvements

Engineering/Maintenance/Release Management of the client related O365 application suite are a plus

Designing and validating user manuals, guidelines, trainings, documentation and policies

Expertise:

Minimum 5 years IT work experience (preferably in a multinational company)

Experience with O365 components as Skype, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, Flow. Proven experience in a similar capacity within large global companies. Microsoft certificates are a plus.

Work with O365 Architects and Development team in a multi-person Application Lifecycle Management development environment using Azure DevOps

Developing documentation and maintaining policies, procedures, and associated training plans for users, power users and site owners of SharePoint.

Previous experience with Office 365 and Office Online on Windows required

Previous experience with Office 365 and Office Online on Mac OSX, iOS devices is a Plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Languages:

Office 365 and Office Online Administraton

Excellent know how of Microsoft products

Basic Project Management

Experience with Client/Device Management Tools (eg: LDMS, SCCM, Airwatch, inTune) are a plus

Microsoft Teams

Azure DevOps

ITIL Process knowledge

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must. Written and verbal communication skills in German are considered an asset. Any additional language skills a plus

Education:

Degree in Information Technology preferred

Languages:

Fluency in English is essential
