IntaPeople are seeking an experienced Storage Administrator to work 5 days per week, although the client is open for partial remote (2 days offsite/3 days onsite). However, in the initial weeks, it is expected that the resource be onsite full time to ramp up.As the successful Storage Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:
The support and delivery of G1000/G800/VSP Storage, HORCM knowledge, TrueCopy and GAD knowledge, Network and Operating System support in line with customer Service Level Agreements; optional: HNAS knowledge, HCP knowledge
Delivery of a pre-defined Storage Administration Service on the customers site being able to discuss and problems solve in relation to installation, operation, configuration, customization, performance, and usage of assigned products.
Configuration of hardware and software pertaining to storage arrays and management suite
Manage simple projects to drive storage efficiencies and application delivery
Apply best practice knowledge for business continuity, high availability design, and capacity planning.
Assist in the design and implementation of enterprise storage solutions utilizing industry best practices.
You will need to demonstrate the following experience:
Administration & operation of HDS storage environments (provisioning requests, space reclaims, SAN zoning, manage vendor cases, manage array code upgrades, change controls, etc.).
Develop and maintain reporting on storage utilization including historical trending and forecasting using Hitachi Product Set.
Knowledge of the following major backup product - Veritas Netbackup.
