SQL Data Engineer/Data analyst Compliance Contract Dublin North.
My client a leading name in their industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Data analyst to join their Compliance team to assist on an on-going Compliance programme that is in process.
The Person doesn't need to have Compliance and or GDPR experience just strong data analysis Data Engineering skills - the role is really finding out what is inside databases and to investigate how to find where certain types of data are stored in order to write scripts to anonymise. Candidates will have Technical experience in Database Analysis and Audits and Data Management, this will include experience in data integration concepts and methodologies, ETL, DBMS, SQL, Oracle, DB2, Teradata MongoDB, Java App, VB6, Microsoft Access, VB.NET (my client is not expecting you to have all of these tool sets but if you have commercial experience in some or most would be advantageous).
Candidates will have a familiarity in data warehousing, Data Marts, Data farms and data integration tools. You will have familiarity with Project Management Principles and methodologies. Candidate will have ability to interpret and analyse applications, Systems and Databases, along with ability to drive data analysis into conclusions and actions
Successful candidates will come from a data analysis background, and will have experience doing analysis of Legacy database systems and how to spot data/trends. it would be advantageous if you have any experience of GDPR or compliance but this isn't a pre-requisite to the role.
