Description
Our client, a reputable retail banking organisation, requires the services of 2 Procurement Consultants to work with them on a major initiative, based out of their Glasgow offices. The successful people will report to the Procurement Lead and lead analysis and renegotiation of third party contracts. These roles will work alongside a peer group who specialise in the identification and adoption of innovative third-party sourcing solutions aimed at driving maximum value for the organisation's engagement across it's 3rd party landscape.
In order to be successful in these exciting new roles, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to:
*Support the establishment and maintenance of sourcing strategies.
*Conduct analysis of third party contracts and building a negotiation or re-negotiation strategy.
*Lead tendering processes, ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are met within required timeframes.
*Challenge key stakeholders on sourcing 'needs' and 'wants' driving consolidation and reduction where possible.
*Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced team members.
You must have the following experience and skills to be considered:
*Procurement expertise and experience in general sourcing, outsourcing and offshoring.
*Ability to understand complex contractual documentation and identification of key issues.
*Regulatory knowledge.
*Knowledge of Supply Chains and Supply Markets.
*Knowledge of Sourcing Strategies and Opportunities.
*Awareness of industry trends in procurement and sourcing within the retail banking environment.
*Ideally you will be CIPS certified.
You will have exemplary communication skills, be confident in your approach to managing a range of stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers as well as being comfortable working as part of a team.
