Product Management - Business Development & Product Implementation
Support Strategy Officer and Executive Management with exploring new business opportunities
Understand customer s business processes, challenges, and desired outcomes and collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement creative solutions
Leverage business, application, and technical knowledge to proactively identify, propose, and implement new products and solutions
Build relationships with customers/stakeholders, as well as maintain positive business relationships with existing stakeholders, through open and frequent communication
Team Management
Direct management responsibility of Project Managers and Business Analysts to provide management oversight/guidance to help team members manage their projects/activities (ensure quality deliverables, manage work schedules, approve OOO requests, ensure coverage, etc.)
Maintain a high level of service and quality outcomes by establishing team standards in documentation, communication, and process
Assign resources to work efforts based upon experience, availability and skill levels
Level resources across work efforts, mitigate fluctuations through knowledge transfer and/or escalate staffing requirements as needed
Mentor and coach team members as needed, recognizing accomplishments and offering constructive feedback where necessary
Project Management
Participate in the full product development lifecycle, managing initiatives from ideation through launch, while setting and managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders
Escalate major risks and issues to management and/or business stakeholders in a timely manner; develop mitigation strategies accordingly
Produce senior management level project status reports and other required artifacts as requested
Concurrently manage own projects via Agile methodology or appropriate project management methodology working with own project team members
Business Analysis
Perform business process analysis, as well as manage PMs/BAs who will perform the same
Meet with Business person to understand an existing business process
Document the business process to confirm understanding with the business person
Highlight issues with the business process
Identify potential solutions
Design and manage the implementation of a solution
Rollout the solution
Measure the impact of the solution
Relevant Work Experience
Work experience at Big Consulting firms like Accenture, KPMG, IBM, Deloitte, etc. are a significant plus, but not mandatory
