Description
As an Application engineer, your main task will be to manage applications, you administer the application and are the expert, define the technical features and solutions to fulfil business needs and deal with incidents, corrections and maintenance of the applications. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Applications team, infrastructure team, suppliers and end users. Your direct supervisor is the manager of the Applications team.

Create and maintain user documentation and knowledgebase
Skills and experience
2+ year of experience in working with solutions or software (ideally in the TV broadcast industry)
Knowledge of experience in (PMI, Prince, Agile, SCRUM, other)
Pragmatic, results oriented
Interpersonal skills, communicate, influence, listen actively
Able to work with people of different backgrounds (business, technical), motivate a team and rally towards an objective
Dependable
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Fluent English, capable of communicating in French and Dutch
Experience in the Broadcast & Media industry is a distinct advantage
Experience with MediaGeniX What'sOn, workflow tools is an advantage.
