Description

Build & deliver procurement, through strong relationships with suppliers & stakeholders, which leads to great value contracts, putting the customer first and ensuring a safe & legal supply base

- Developing and implementing the Procurement plans for the products/services I support
- Developing strong working relationships with the stakeholder base (internally and external suppliers) to understand and influence requirements
- Demonstrating effective behaviours in conducting commercial negotiations that will help generate positive outcomes
- Writing and delivering a procurement plan
- Controlling the business spend through improved use of tools and processes
- Sourcing potential new suppliers and assess their sustainability to supply the business, minimising risk and optimising service.
- Enhancing existing supplier relationships to ensure continued suitability and creating greater value
- Consolidating supplier volumes in order to create a manageable category
- Continually assessing and reviewing the supply base to manage total cost, quality and availability
- Assisting in the development of the functional operating model for the product category
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best
