Contract Mechanical Design Engineer
Duration - 6 months initially
Location - Oxford
Rate - £40 - £45 per hour
A well-established engineering company based in the Oxford area are currently on the hunt for a mechanical design engineer on a contract basis.
The company are well respected within the aerospace and space industry and have a new project which you'll be playing a key role in.
The role will heavily involve designing a number of projects generating 3D models as well as verification and analysis of designs.
They are ideally looking for someone who has a specifically strong background with Solidworks as well as a strong mathematical background. Skills and experience beneficial as below:
Strong Solidworks background
Drawings to BS 8888 and GD & T (Beneficial)
Strong mechanical mathematics background
The company are also offering a rate of around £40 - £45 per hour depending on the level of your experience and the contract length is initially 6 months with likely extension.
