On behalf of our client an international finance institute in London, we are looking for external resources with skills and abilities as stated below.

Customer Compliance Auditor (f/m/x) financial area London - P513

Field of activity

The Unit Customer Compliance covers customer market data audit activities to validate revenues, reporting, licensing and compliance of customers with the relevant market data agreements. The Customers are leading financial organisations worldwide, amongst them the leading investment banks, hedge funds and specialist providers of financial information. The objective of the team is to ensure clients are audited regularly in order to minimise the risk of unreported and unlicensed market data and to support customers' with their compliance requirements under their relevant agreement.

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Working as part of the Customer Compliance team conducting market data customer audits of clients (subscribers, licensees, market data vendors, service facilitators) remotely and on site following best practice guidelines to identify any discrepancies in accordance with relevant agreements
  • Produce accurate and detailed audit analyses for presentation to both audited parties and internally to audit team and with due consideration to cost and time efficiencies
  • Extend, update and document acquired audit knowledge and processes including data delivery platforms, technical systems, applications, entitlement control systems, market data management systems and administrative practices and communicate to other team members
  • Provide input into the internal development of audit policy and the contractual terms for agreements audited
  • Update audit strategies to ensure standardised, efficient audit processes are maintained
  • Develop and maintain effective and harmonious internal and external working relationships and manage expectations throughout the audit process at customers
  • Track individual audit status and provide input to Management reporting requirements
  • Effectively plan and complete audit work to ensure individual and team targets are met

Qualifications/required skills

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of researching and analysing data with a high level of attention to detail
  • Analytical, organisational and technical skills
  • Good communication skills and diplomatic manner both oral and written
  • General knowledge and ideally some experience in the financial services industry in the market data area
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement and proficiency in another European language would also be advantageous
  • Ability to adapt and adopt new processes and approaches to working practices
  • Intermediate or advanced skills at handling MS Office applications in particular MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Powerpoint
  • Willingness to travel

Assignment:

  • Fulltime (100%)
  • Start: 01.05.2019
  • Duration: until end 2019 (possible extension)
