Business Analyst Bank SQL/test Dublin Contract 6-18 Months.
My client a leading name in their global industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis. You will join Finance Technology team in Dublin. Business Analyst and Testing Experience with expertise in different technologies, business areas, application wide analysis, and proposal of solutions. Responsible for high level implementation plans, data and process models, test strategies, test implementation and change management review. Candidate should also be able to perform as team leaders when necessary.
Candidates will be responsible for working with the business partner teams on the delivery of the Capital and other Regulatory Reporting projects, primarily associated with COREP, Statistical, Finrep and Anacredit. The role is to analyse their regulatory reporting requirements and Isolate the specific data required (by product and attributes). You will identify whether we already have them or they need to be obtained, You will liaise with upstream providers to obtain where necessary. You will Map them to our in-house regulatory data warehouse and reporting software. You will Test the outputs and functionality, where applicable. You will be able to apply a mix of accounting, data analysis, and project management skills to work as part of a team designing and implementing our new regulatory reporting platform. They will need to liaise across various areas of the bank (Finance, Middle Office, Operations and Treasury etc.)
Successful candidates will ideally have an extensive experience of mandatory regulatory implementations within a Tier 1 Bank. You will have a high level understanding of financial products and key asset classes such as Debt, Equity, Commodity etc. You will have a strong control mentality. Fundamental accounting and reconciliation skills. You will have Strong Data Analysis capabilities, with experience in writing BRDs, and reviewing Technical Specifications. You will have an ability to analyse large volumes of data via strong MS Excel proficiency (pivots, data comparison etc.) with SQL desirable. You will have an experience in Data Validation through Back End testing. You will have experience in creating test scenarios and User Acceptance testing. You will have Defect management experience using ALM and JIRA. You will have Technology chain, as well as working with business partners from multiple disciplines with differing priorities across multiple, global locations.
