Description

Dutch speaking IT Project manager with logistics experience needed for a long term opportunity in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Experience required: 

What you will do as an IT Project Manager

  • Managing, setting up and supervising the above IT projects.
  • Analyze needs of the production environment with regard to decision making and makechoices.
  • Translate the needs of the production environment into sub-tasks and specify the work for both internal and external (technical) specialists.
  • Organizing activities on the business side such as UAT, training, introduction
  • Responsible for project budgets and reporting to steering committee on budget, lead time,quality and scope and the preparation of steering committee decisions.
  • Stakeholder management within various working units and layers

Job requirements

To be successful as an IT project manager:

  • You have a completed HBO/WO education with a strong IT component.
  • you have recent experience as a project leader or project manager in a complex production organization,where you have managed IT projects independently.
  • you have a strong interest in IT and current knowledge of developments in the profession.
  • you are demonstrably successful in stakeholder management and you include the (end) users in the change. Hereby you guarantee that after the implementation they are successful with the new or adapted system can work;
