Position: Senior Embedded C Developer (Contract role)
Location: Belgium
Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension at the end of this contract)
Hours per week: 40 hours
Job overview: The client is an important technology company that provides electronics equipment and visualisation devices as well as related support services to multiple customers across many industries (aerospace, commercial, entertainment, health care, etc.). They are looking for an enthusiastic senior software engineer with experience in developing Embedded software for Microcontroller with focus on Real Time behaviour.
Must haves:
- Microcontroller development
- Knowledge of C, Linux & Real Time OS's
- Experience in Scripting
- Experience with network applications
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of ThreadX is a huge plus
- Knowledge of buildsystems
- Experience with continuous integration
- Working in Agile teams (development scrum team of 5 people)
Profile:
- Senior (5-10 years' experience)
- Master Software/Electrical Engineering
