Overview: This role sits within the technical support function of a Global Payments Organisation. It focuses on networking technologies within an operations environment; providing project support and engineering techniques to implement new initiatives.
Key skills:
- Perform tier II support functions for operations
- Provide project support (emphasis on operations)
- Apply engineering techniques to develop and implement new technology initiatives
- Ability to analyse trends over time to understand network performance and develop improvement plans.
- Strong communication skills
Knowledge/experience (desirable):
- knowledge of routing, switching, security operations, tunneling, engineering.
- Familiarity with Firewall Cisco ASA and Checkpoint, Cisco Wifi and Palo Alto technology.
- MS Office
- Payments experience highly desirable
